Can't Sleep

Slam dunk to my consciousness,
I can't sleep
I wait and wait for dream to come
But then I get up and drink cola
Without rum.
Perhaps it's the adrenaline
I got through the day
Perhaps it's just being young 
And frivolous and a payback
For all the previous nights I slept away.
