Henry Longfellow
If not the tedious art
What would I do with my poet's heart
It took me lifetime of accomplishments
But here I am, among the acknowledgements
I travelled the world far and wide
All manner of people to study and find
For I find interest in all diverse
That informs my experience
In writing and in verse
For masses I write
In that I find a great delight
Lyrics of legends may come through
Lyrics for all come to you
I write for all and for your pleasure
For this generation and others to treasure
Enjoy my verse long after I am gone
Through time and space my words live on
