Quatrain

A quatrain is a stanza or a poem consisting of four lines. They may rhyme in different schematics like AABA or AABB or even just AAAA. There are actually fifteen possible rhyming combinations to quatrain poetry.

Quatrains were used (and still are) by all major civilizations through the history of time by poets of different nations.

One notable fact about quatrain form may be noted that Michel de Nostredame used it to deliver his famous prophecies in the 16th century.

I don’t so much like this form by do use the style rarely.
